Early concept artworks featuring THE NEW MUTANTS unused character Warlock have made their way online, thanks to artist Deryl Braun for Iron Klad Studios. “A few years, back this was my first movie related work,” he revealed about the two pieces on Instagram (click the arrows to view).
Earlier versions of director Josh Boone and writer Knate Lee’s screenplay featured the popular comic book alien character as a sentient piece of technology given to Professor X by the NSA; you can read more about that via Entertainment Weekly. Boone previously noted that he originally wanted actor Sacha Baron Cohan to voice the role.
