The Hollywood Reporter — Marvel Studios’ DEADPOOL 3 is forging ahead with filming soon at Pinewood Studios in London, England, UK during the WGA strike. Writers in media, including films and TV, and are protesting for better pay and rights against the use of artificial intelligence in screenwriting.
The screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, with Zebb Wells, and (earlier draft writers) Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux, is currently locked. Changes can’t be made by the writers or even Ryan Reynolds (a writer himself) until said strike is over. Director Shawn Levy and producers have limited ability to make small adjustments, as necessary This puts DP3 in familiar territory with X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, which filmed during the strike of 2007-08 with Reynolds and Hugh Jackman!
