Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for Children of Blood and Bone, the highly anticipated fantasy adventure based on Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood, the film brings the magical world of Orïsha to the big screen with an all-star ensemble.
Set in the kingdom of Orïsha, the story follows a courageous young woman determined to restore the magic that was brutally taken from her people. Alongside her brother, she forms an unlikely alliance with the king’s son and daughter, setting off on a dangerous journey to challenge a ruthless regime and fight for the future of their homeland.
The film features an impressive cast led by Thuso Mbedu, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg, and Tosin Cole. They are joined by Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Zackary Momoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Regina King, Idris Elba, and Viola Davis.
Children of Blood and Bone arrives in theaters and IMAX on January 15, 2027.
