20th Century Fox has decided on a July 26, 2013 release date for THE WOLVERINE!
The film will be directed by “3:10 to Yuma” helmer James Mangold, with a praised screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Momback. X-MEN vet Hugh Jackman will reprise the iconic role of Wolverine for the 6th time in his successful career.
Loosely based on the Frank Miller and Chris Claremont comic series, THE WOLVERINE follows Logan as he treks Japan and falls in love with a woman whose hand is already promised to another. When he doesn’t back down, her powerful crimelord father summons the Silver Samurai and other deadly threats in the X-Men universe to push Logan’s healing-factor to the limit.
Can’t wait!
Good, we need another good Wolverine Movie.
Why not a version of X-Force?. Anyway just bring back Lady Deathstrike.
Hell yes… we need another one!
I hope this will be a rated “R” flick, and that another WOLVERINE will follow, to complete Logan’s trilogy!
Best news this year!!!
It means, there is no X-men movie for this year, 2012?
Better not to rush any of them… It went well with FIRST CLASS, but I hope they take their time with each film…
This COULD mean, we will get at least 2 X-films in 2013… THE WOLVERINE and the FIRST CLASS SEQUEL.
And there is yet the news concerning DEADPOOL…
No X-MEN releases for 2012. Hopefully DEADPOOL will get a 2013 release too and then hopefully we’ll get FIRST CLASS 2 in 2014. 🙂
this is wrong coz theyre saying that theyre working on X-men first class 2 and now theyre steping back on X-men first class 2 what kind of ppl are they do me a favor ppl do not make a illusion ppl please if there not going to make x-men first class 2 then don’t commented nothign coz its bad for those who care so much of X-men first class so no illussions please this is for the great or good ok so please nock it off
THE WOLVERINE has been in development since late 2009. X-MEN: FIRST CLASS 2 has just begun the process and is nowhere near ready to film yet. The movies are coming in order as intended. 🙂
