“[DEADPOOL] has to be rated R.” says actor Ryan Reynolds when asked by IGN about the developing film. “It has to be done a certain way, it has to do all these things that I am sure can worrisome for the guys cutting the checks for it.” Reynolds calls the script “fantastic” and says that it has “been developed even further in the last three months or so.” The actor confirms the movie will share no connection with 2009’s X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.
C’mon Fox, make it happen! 🙂
Look we have been hearing this rumor a while now. It has not been confirmed by Fox, and since Green Lantern was a disaster, it seems not likely Fox will develop a film for an actor who can not play a leading role. PUT THIS TO REST ALREADY, Things have moved on. aka X-Men First Class.
That is da bomb! I LOVE Magneto that is so my next tat!
giving X-Men characters their own Spin-off films doesn’t really work since they’re from the X-Men universe and having other X-Men characters involved is almost inevitable and doing so only screws over other characters that people know and love, I’m talking about Gambit and Deadpool in X-Men Origins Wolverine, I say use him as a villan in an X-Men First Class sequel.
