Here’s a look at the cover art for the upcoming X-MEN anime DVD which hits stores on April 24th! The 2-disc release collects the complete series, 12 episodes, which originally aired on Animax and G4. Bonus features include “Re-Examining The X-Men” and “X-Men: A Team of Outsiders” docs.
The X-MEN are reunited following the death of a teammate and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of young mutant Hisako. There, they confront the U-MEN, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.

Its hideous. What happened to the artwork they used in all the posters for the X-men Anime? It was so much more detailed and edgy. This front cover just looks flat.
I think they should have used the artwork they put on the back cover on the front cover instead.
Hope they decide to do another season along with some other X-men characters… Gambit, Roque, IceMan & Kitty Pryde.
A second season would be awesome! I need my X-men fix and this anime is only 12 episodes which isnt enough.
