Actor Edi Gathegi, who plays the constantly-evolving mutant Darwin in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, recently spoke with Access Hollywood about the film and says that reshoots might be taking place.
“I guess there are some reshoots that they’re doing at this point, but the bulk of the movie is done and they’re sticking to their release date, so it’s going to be a pretty fast turn-around.” says Gathegi.
“I have faith in it, I have faith in all the filmakers. I think the script is great and the director is great, the actors are great…it’s going to be a good X-Men.”
We can confirm that upcoming pickups are part of pre-scheduled dates assigned during production. The plan was to complete additional photography after main filming concluded in December. This process is normal for many films and does not reflect a last minute decision.
I think it will be a good film too. I just wish they had more time to make it perfect.
Really hope this film defies expectations.
