For the millionth time MTV has asked director Darren Aronofsky about his progress on THE WOLVERINE. As usual, much info is not given, considering work has just barely begun on the one-off tale which follows Wolverine as he treks Japan and battles samurai.
“Not really.” Aronofsky says when asked if much work has been done on the film. “We’ve been promoting [Black Swan] internationally but y’know we’re still working on it still moving forward so we’ll see what happens.”
When asked if the film would be in 3D, Aronofsky said “I have no comment.”

I think 3D would be cool for The Wolverine. Japanese scenery in 3D would be awesome with the Aronofsky touch.
3D at movie theaters sucks….
I hope they stick to 2D. No 3D film so far has convinced me, thy relied too much on 3D alone, instead of working out a coherent story (see INCEPTION).
Although I have faith in Aronofsky, I hope he focuses more on the story and characters instead of how to make it all look good in 3D.
The question has nothing to do with this article, but does the removing of your post “first official photo of XMFC” means that it was indeed a fake just like I thought (and sorta hoped) ?
I hope they just make the movie and not worry about dumb details like this, then again MTV always asks stupid questions.
