Deadline reports that X-MEN: FIRST CLASS director Matthew Vaughn has decided to not direct the sequel, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Instead, Vaughn will work on Mark Millar’s comic book adaption, “Secret Service” for 20th Century Fox. Vaughn will remain as producer.
At the top of Fox’s director replacement list is “X-Men” and “X2” director, Bryan Singer, who also produced “First Class.” No word on other directors in the running.
The studio has the film set for a July 18, 2014 release.
Déjà vu.

Oh…YOUR back again…
Well lets get something shortnedd out aye Rob?
You are a commenter (obvisouly) on this site, yes? You show NOT input so our convos abut only seem to insult and just bring the house down.
You need to learn how to shut up in public, over the internet, otherwise you can get in some serious shit.
Get a life and stop putting others down.
I am saying this nicely.
At this point, I’ve decided to stop taking directorial hires for X-Men movies at face value.
The Last Stand, First Class, The Wolverine, and now Days of Future Past have all lost their first directors. The first film probably even had another director before Singer, but my memory isn’t what it used to be. (I swear it had to be somebody… maybe Sonnenfeld?)
No, Byran was the first choice for X-Men. I think this also means Millar is also no longer working as a consultant on these movies either. I think Byran is coming back to link Days of Future Past with X-Men and X2.
He’s the original. so Bryan knows everything and he can handle it and at the same time manipulate the whole story that will connects from the previous x-men movies..
Having Brain on this film will reg-gain the old ‘X Men’ feel which we were given with the first two movies and half the third.
I honeslty think that Vaughn wanted out ages ago but they made thw announcment now AFTER the first film was done…
You sound like an arrogant stupid person.
Now we wait and see if Byran Singer will direct this.
FYI I am stating MY opinion and I know for a well fact I am not an arrogant person.
My comment did not even sound arrogant or stupid. It is a meer thought…GOT IT?
here we go again.
