/Film has released two new stills from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and recently spoke with director Matthew Vaughn who said he “freaked out” when he saw the debut image of the cast in costume online.
“I freaked out on them yesterday. I don’t know where the hell that came from. I don’t think it’s a Fox image. It’s not a pre-approved image. When I found out, I said, what the **** is this ****, and Fox is running around trying to figure out what happened as well. I agree. It’s like a bad photoshop, which maybe it was by someone. It didn’t reflect the movie. I was shocked when I saw it. I was like ‘Jesus Christ’.
“I’m a fan of X-Men. We’re not bastardizing X-Men, I’m trying to get them back to being whole again.”
Vaughn also noted that the blue and yellow costumes are “hardly in the movie”, and that the “the main costumes are like these cool 60’s James Bond” style.
in the original interview it said
“Because if you’re a stickler for continuity, in X3 when you see Patrick Stewart…. well, I don’t want to give away anything about the plot but we’ve been as respectful of the other movies and comics as we I can feasibly can be without compromising the story.”
hmmm looks like we may even see Pro X twin?
Interesting… I wonder how they will solve it. Will we see how Charles got in the wheelchair?
O_O, Magneto’s helmet reminds me of the helmet from the 90s X-Men cartoon, minus the color though. Also, I kinda figured the group shot was not right; it seemed a bit off or something
Somehow I do not belive the article bothered to get it’s interviews written correctly.
