X-MEN: FIRST CLASS actor Lucas Till spoke with Just Jared Jr. about his character Alex Summers aka Havok. In the comic books, Havok is the younger brother of X-Man Cyclops and fans are wondering if the switch in time periods from the source material will have an effect on that relationship.
“I definitely remember wanting to be Wolverine, but Havok is a great consolation prize.” said Till. “I can shoot energy beams out of my entire body, and I’m the brother of Cyclops. Havok has always historically been the brother with more potential, but because he has less control over his powers, he has always been secluded and separated.”

oh, wow. well, this rules out my first guess (that he was to be scotts father). its good that they are at least still brothers.
Who cares? As long as the movie is as good as the last three… he could also be Cyclops mother… some people are just a little too nerdy.
Some people just want to see some respects shown towards the source material. I think the fact that they changed his power to a red color shows they care somewhat 🙂
I can’t tell if Lucas Till is referring to the comic book character history or the history of his character in the film. Hopefully they remain brothers.
I think he’s refering to the comic book history since Bryan Singer has already said that Havok and Cyclops won’t be bros in XMFC.
