In its fourth weekend of release at the box office, DEADPOOL dropped to the number three spot, earning $16.7 million from over 3,624 domestic theaters. It was topped by new releases β€œZootopia” ($75 mil) and β€œLondon Has Fallen” ($21.6 mil), and made more than β€œWhiskey Tango Foxtrot” ($7.4 mil), dropping 46.2% from last weekend’s haul of $31.5 million. It’s current haul in the USA now stands at $311.4 million.

It’s the top-grossing R-rated film of 2016 (so far) and ranks as the third highest-grossing R-rated film (domestically) behind β€œThe Passion of the Christ” ($370.8 mil) and β€œAmerican Sniper” ($350.1 mil). β€œIt’s been a phenomenal run,” said Fox distribution chief Chris Aronson. β€œEvery week it has exceeded our modeling.”

With $362.1 million coming from foreign markets, the film has garnered an astounding $673.6 million worldwide on a budget of just $58 million.

The Tim Miller-directed film starring Ryan Reynolds is the highest-grossing X-Men film ever (domestically), surpassing β€œX-Men: The Last Stand” ($234.2 mil) and β€œX-Men: Days of Future Past” ($233.9 mil). Worldwide, it’s currently the second biggest X-Men film, behind β€œX-Men: Days of Future Past” ($747 million).
