GAMBIT is without a director again, as Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) has decided to exit the 20th Century Fox film to instead direct “Justice League Dark” for Warner Bros. According to insiders at The Hollywood Reporter, it was a “mutual parting of ways” between Liman and the studio. Despite the loss, Fox still has every intention to start production this January with star Channing Tatum and writer Josh Zetumer. The search for a new director is currently underway.
