AMERICAN GODS actress Yetide Badaki has been campaigning to portray weather Goddess mutant Storm since last year, being vocal on social media about her desire to Marvel Studios’ head Kevin Feige. Recently, Badaki reconfirmed her desire, tweeting “Yes, this is still True.” in reference to a post from last year.

A component of Storm in modern X-Men comics involved Ororo forming a relationship and, at one time, marrying the Black Panther. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, T’Challa is portrayed by actor Chadwick Boseman, who is 42 years old; Badaki is 38, which would fit. That’s not to say this aspect will even be explored on film; that’s a big question mark. For further reference, Halle Berry was 34 years when X-Men released in 2000 and Alexandra Shipp was 25 when X-Men: Apocalypse came out in 2016.
It’s anyone’s guess when mutants make their first appearances in the MCU.
No thanks. That would mean she would start out the role in her 40’s. We need someone much younger, in her 20’s.
You are crazy. Who would you pick over her?
