- Apple TV and Legendary Pictures has released a date announcement teaser for the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The series continues February 27 on the platform.
Fallout
- Prime Video has released an official trailer for Fallout Season 2. Starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins, the series returns December 17.
Avatar: Fire and Ash
- AMC Theatres is listing a 3 hour and 15 minute runtime for Avatar: Fire and Ash. Starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, this would mark James Cameron’s longest journey into Pandora. Avatar: The Way of Water clocked in a bit shorter at 3 hours and 12 minutes, with Avatar running at just 2 hours and 42 minutes.
The Super Galaxy Movie
- Watch the official trailer for The Super Galaxy Movie. Actress Brie Larson (The Marvels) has been announced as the voice for Rosalina.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
- Speaking with Variety, director Jon Watts spoke about the “genuinely weird” experience he’ll likely have when watching director Destin Daniel Cretton’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Watts directed the original Marvel Studios trilogy with Tom Holland in the Spidey suit. “…I’m very close to that franchise, so I had to step back and let everyone do their job,” he said. “It’s going to be genuinely weird for me going to see that movie for the first time. It’s going to be a really interesting feeling. It’s a passing of the torch and I’m curious to see where it goes.”
Chadwick Boseman
- Chadwick Boseman will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on November 20. The Black Panther star who passed away in 2020 will be honored by director Ryan Coogler and actor Viola Davis. Boseman’s widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman will accept the award.
V for Vendetta
- Variety reports that a V for Vendetta tv series is in development for HBO from DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran. No word if this series will take place in the DCU or branch off into an Elseworld tale. Pete Jackson (Somewhere Boy) is attached to write.
Alien: Earth
- FX has confirmed a second season for Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth.
Fantastic Four
- Miles Teller appeared on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy, where he talked about the failure of director Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four film, in which he starred as Reed Richards. When asked if he new it was going to be bad while making, Teller said: “I think it’s unfortunate for that, because so many people worked so hard on that movie, and honestly, maybe there was one really important person who kind of f***ed it all up.”
