Marvel’s mutants continue to take center stage this week, as Marvel Comics rolls out a fresh batch of X-Men titles hitting shelves on Wednesday, April 15. This week’s lineup highlights just how expansive and unpredictable the X-Men corner of the Marvel Universe has become. Here’s a full breakdown of what fans can expect from each release.

X-Men United (2026) #2 is written by Eve Ewing, with pencils by Tiago Palma and a cover by Stefano Caselli. In this issue, the dream of a new mutant future begins to fracture almost immediately, as Mutantdom’s newest institute of higher learning spirals into chaos shortly after opening its doors. At the same time, a select group of mutants is pulled into a high-stakes time-travel mission, teaming up with none other than Captain America.

Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant (2026) #3 is written by Murewa Ayodele, with art by Federica Mancin and a cover by R. B. Silva. This chapter pushes Storm into uncharted territory, as a mysterious force abducts her entirely out of the Multiverse in an effort to save her from the looming threat known as the War Above All. Stranded and alone, Ororo must navigate unknown realities and find her way back to Earth-616.

Inglorious X-Force (2026) #4 is written by Tim Seeley, with pencils by Michael Sta. Maria and Philip Tan, and a cover by R. B. Silva. Titled β€œAngel of Death,” this issue centers on Cable and his covert team as their mission to stop an assassination begins to unravel. The truth behind Archangel comes to light in ways that could tear the team apart, while a mysterious mutant assailant lurks in the shadows.

Ultimate Wolverine (2025) #16 is written by Christopher Condon, with art and cover by Alessandro Cappuccio. As the second year of the Ultimate Universe approaches its conclusion, Wolverine and Phoenix track Magik into the hellish dimension of Limbo for a climactic confrontation. The stakes couldn’t be higher, as escaping Illyana’s realm demands a devastating sacrifice, one that directly sets up the events of Ultimate Endgame #5 and promises lasting consequences for the Ultimate line.

Magik & Colossus (2026) #3 is written by Ashley Allen, with pencils by German Peralta and a cover by David Nakayama. The bond between the Rasputin siblings is pushed to its limits as Magik finds herself trapped in a brutal gladiator arena, forced to fight for survival. Meanwhile, Colossus races against time to locate his sister, but with no clear path to her, the odds of a reunion grow slimmer by the moment.
