Jennifer Lawrence recently spoke with Heat Vision about playing Mystique in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. The actress describes her dieting for the role as “awful…”
“It was awful, I was hungry for five months. I’m still pissed about it. I’m slowly working my way back because I have to be able to eat like an a**hole.”
The role required Lawrence to drop her clothes and have seven makeup artists apply body paint and prosthetics to her frame during an 8-hour timeframe.
“Nothing’s sacred anymore,” Lawrence says. “Those girls and I got so close. They were painting me naked every day for months. It was kind of like going to a really bizarre sleepover.”

It’s cool to know that her whole body was painted. It proves that she won’t be wearing the x-men uniform like on the first official / unofficial group photo, or at least not during the whole movie.
