XMF was the first to break news that 20th Century Fox registered X-ForceMovie.com for a developing X-FORCE film! Since then, a barrage of supporting news has surfaced.
Bleeding Cool reports that Fox has plans to announce details on their efforts to expand the “X-Men” cinematic universe, during Comic Con in San Diego next weekend. They’ll probably also use the platform to gain buzz on their “Fantastic Four” reboot, which nests in the greater cinematic universe.
The Hollywood Reporter says that “Kick Ass 2” writer and director Jeff Wadlow has signed on to write the film’s screenplay, with an eye to potentially direct. It’s pretty likely that “Kick Ass” creator and “Fox/Marvel Consultant” Mark Millar had a hand in that suggestion.
With multiple iterations of “X-Force” comics out there, comic creator Rob Liefeld tweeted that “An X-Force film is Cable. Is Deadpool.” “Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool.”

I can pretty much eliminate some sites suggestion that the Milligan X-Statix stuff is in the mix. An X-Force film is Cable. Is Deadpool.

When they cast an X-Force film then its reason to celebrate. They have a Magneto film in 'development' as well. Proceed with caution.

Released in 1991, X-Force created by Rob Liefeld, was a spin-off from Marvel Comics’ “Uncanny X-Men.” Its first issue sold over 5 million copies – a record, which was later beat by Jim Lee’s “X-Men” at 8 million. The original lineup contained members from New Mutants (producer Lauren Shuler Donner’s favorite) and Cable, a militant leader from the future who is the son of present-day Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor.
I would not listen to anything Liefeld says, the man is a liar. I also would not take anything said about X-Force until Fox confirms it is even happening. Or even on who is writing or directing it, and who cares about the Fantastic Four anyway, unless the rights go back to Marvel.
