This behind the scenes clip from X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (via Games Radar) features writer Simon Kinberg and director Bryan Singer talking about casting Alexandra Shipp as Storm.
“When I was casting Storm, to be really honest, I was looking for young Halle Berry and I couldn’t be any clearer,” said Singer.
“Halle portrayed Storm in her Goddess, queenly moments,” said Shipp. “But for my Storm, she’s a little bit more reckless, she’s a little bit more emotion-driven. She’s very confused at who she wants to be when she grows up.”
