After multiple delays since 2018, including he most recent due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 20th Century Studios/Disney has announced that THE NEW MUTANTS will now arrive in theaters on August 28, 2020.
The Josh Boone film has had three years of marketing and hype and that hasn’t slowed down due to recent images which revealed an epic battle between Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy) and the villainous Demon Bear. With this new date, we can expect one more trailer and possibly even another poster.
Everyone is curious if the film will actually make this date as the current worldwide situation has many unknowns. If it does happen, it’ll be the only major release that weekend, but will be sandwiched between Bill & Ted Face The Music (August 21) and A Quiet Place Part II (September 4).
