Marvel mutant Sabra spotted on CAPTAIN AMERICA 4 set.

Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order is currently filming, and thanks to Hollywood Pipeline we have our first look at a potential mutant character: Sabra. Israeli actress Shira Haas was spotted on the Atlanta set wearing what appears to be tactical gear under a trench coat, with script in hand. Will Sabra be a mutant like in the Marvel comics? It’s anyone’s guess at this point, but keep your fingers crossed!

The character has ties to various factions in the Marvel universe beyond the X-Men. Her mutant powers give her enhanced physical strengths, including a healing factor, and an interesting ability that allows her to transfer her life energy to others, giving them low-level super powers. In addition to her natural gifts, she can fly using a secret Israeli gravity-polarization device. All of this sounds very interesting when it comes to the world of Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, and it’ll be fun to see how the character utilized.

Captain America: New World Order arrives in theaters on May 3, 2024.
