There’s a new WOLVERINE movie coming out next year, but director James Mangold and crew have been extremely tight-lipped about Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the adamantiuum-clawed mutant. That will soon change, according to “the man” himself.
“There’s going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so, that’s all I’ll say,” confirmed Jackman to Entertainment Tonight, while attending the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s 95th Hollywood’s Night Under The Stars event. “I’m really trying, I’m not good…I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically [the film] it’s going to be very different. Very different in tone and hopefully, very different from anything that we’ve done.”
New York Comic Con starts this week through Sunday, but it doesn’t appear to be what Jackman’s referring to. When and where will we get our first peek? We’ll have to wait and see what goodies are in store, when Mangold and 20th Century Fox decide to let the promo train start chugging along.
The film (that’s still technically untitled, although signs points to “Weapon X”) arrives in theaters on March 3, 2017.
