New LOGAN portrait profiles an older and rougher looking Professor X.

LOGAN director James Mangold just tweeted out this black and white portrait photo of Sir Patrick Stewart as an older and disheveled Professor Charles Xavier, using the “Leica S 007 Summicron 100mm, ISO 3200 1/250 ƒ3.4.”

Early leaked set photos showed Hugh Jackman’s Logan with Professor X, with both looking like they had suffered some form of a mental attack. It’s believed that Xavier in this film is in poor health and has unstable powers.
