Director Josh Boone posts BTS photo: “Last week shooting NEW MUTANTS.”

Director Josh Boone took to instagram to announce his “last week of shooting” for THE NEW MUTANTS film. Production on the horror-tinged X-Men spin-off began July 10th with stars Anya Taylor-Joy (Magik), Maisie Williams (Wolfsbane), Charlie Heaton (Cannonball), Blu Hunt (Dani Moonstar), Henry Zaga (Sunspot) and Alexis Braga (Dr. Cecilia Reyes).

The photo shows a clapperboard with a blood-soaked “The New Mutants” logo straight from the comics. Whether this will be the official logo or not remains to be seen, though it’s likely just being used for production.

The film arrives in theaters on April 13, 2018.
