Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, DEADPOOL actress Morena Baccarin (Vanessa) confirmed that she has yet to hear anything about her potential involvement in DEADPOOL 3. “I have no idea,” she said. “Apparently, they’re still writing it. I genuinely don’t know. I have not been asked or approached. There’s been no conversations yet, so I’m waiting with bated breath.
No one knows for sure how much development has actually been made on the third film, starring Ryan Reynolds as the merc with a mouth. Reynolds visited Marvel Studios later last year reportedly to meet with Kevin Feige and Disney’s Bob Iger added the character to his Twitter profile banner, but nothing official has been said.
When we last saw Baccarin’s Vanessa, she was saved from death after Deadpool used time-travel to change events which took place in the second film. Should she have a role to play in the threequel, the actress says she hopes her role is “as big as possible” and that should “would love” to be right by Reynolds side.
