
Evan Peters recently spoke with Details about his return as Quicksilver in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE . As in the “original” comics, and hinted at during their brief interaction in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, the actor confirmed his character’s connection to Michael Fassbender’s Magneto.
“The story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him,” he said of Peter Maximoff’s journey in the film . “It starts there and then he jumps on the X-Men train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world.
Peters calls ‘Apocalypse’ the “biggest X-Men film,” saying “It’s about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge.”
The film comes the theaters on May 27, 2016.
