In its sixth weekend at the box office, Hugh Jackman’s LOGAN finale dropped to number eight on the charts, earning a little over $4 million from 1,949 domestic theaters. That’s a 33.7% drop from last weekend’s take of $6.1 million.
With a production budget of $97 million, the R-rated film has earned an impressive $218 million (so far) in the USA. That makes it the top-earning WOLVERINE film in the unorthodox “trilogy” which includes X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and THE WOLVERINE.
Internationally, the foreign total is currently at $378.6 million, making the worldwide numbers around $596.6 million.
‘Logan’ is awaiting release in Japan on June 1.
