Josh Brolin’s physical transformation for Cable role in DEADPOOL sequel.

Josh Brolin is quickly transforming into Cable, giving fans a peek at his workout regime, diet and new haircut via instagram.

Brolin’s a beast, lifting weights and showing off his chiseled physique in preparations for his pivotal role in director David Leitch’s DEADPOOL sequel starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, Zazie Beetz as Domino and Jack Kesy, who’s rumored to play the villainous Black Tom Cassidy.

“Quietly, the ‘Team’ is killing it,” he says. “It takes a small village: Justin Lovato at I Am Built, Jonathon Phillips Max Muscle, Gold’s Gym and some discipline. Just saw Dave Bautista at the gym and he said: “What the f*ck happened to you?!” Haha. Best compliment ever. Totally clean: no sugar, no breads, no pastas, no drugs, none of it. Fish, rice, eggs, veggies, water, one Bullet Proof or Caveman Coffee in the morning. I’m almost 50. It’s a different time: our access along with some big picture discipline results in always surprising milestones. Get on the train. #wedontfuckaround. #itaintthathard #startslowandlight @weprevail #ryanreynoldsismybitch.”

Hopefully our first official look at Brolin in costume (and prosthetics?) as Cable comes sooner rather than later, as filming begins this Summer in Vancouver for a June 1, 2018 theatrical release.
