X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX director and writer Simon Kinberg instagrammed a photo of himself with some of the cast and crew during a special dinner in Montreal with Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
A few familiar faces include freshly-buzzed James McAvoy (Professor X) with girlfriend Lisa Liberati, Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler) with girlfriend Rebecca Phillipou, producer Hutch Parker and others.
“Superhero team-up,” wrote Kinberg. “Justin Trudeau joins the X-Men.”
Not pictured, but confirmed to appear in the film are Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Jessica Chastain (Lilandra) and a host of others awaiting confirmation.
“Dark Phoenix” films July through October in Montreal for a November 2, 2018 theatrical release.
