With production on DEADPOOL 2 beginning this week, it’s just a matter of time before we see Josh Brolin suited up as the time-traveling mutant Cable. The actor recently posted a behind the scenes sneak peak of his transformation, showing himself with makeup artist making a partial mold of his face.
“Insanity on the brink,” he wrote. “Face is morphing into something machine, fierce, hair sliced, arm machined, bulged. Where is Deadpool?!? Looking. Looking. All I got are these two…molding me, prodding, turning me into something hard.
As fans will know, Cable (real name: Nate Summers) has techno-organic body parts and is usually depicted with a glowing eye, which gives him enhanced eyesight. It’ll be interesting to see how closely his version of the character compares to the comic books.
“Deadpool 2” comes to theaters on June 1, 2018.
