More concept artwork and early designs for characters in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE have been revealed from the artists who created them. Earlier this week, we saw the back designs for Beast and Mystique’s new costumes by artist Greg Hopwood. Today, we have early costume concept art for the villainous En Sabah Nur created by Jerad Marantz for designer Louise Mingenbach.
Here’s another early piece of artwork by artist Jared Krichevsky, who says “During the filming of ‘Days of Future Past’ I got to take a stab at designing Apocalypse. Age of Apocalypse was on of my favorite X-Men series and I was a huge fan of the 90’s toon, so this was a lot of fun to do.”
Artist Joshua James Shaw also posted “unfinished sketches” he created for Cyclops and Mystique. It’s very evident the production crew wanted to stick closer to the comic books in terms of the final costume reveal.
And we didn’t use this design because? I really liked the first couple of pictures! Gosh Singer you made the wrong choice.
Yup, he did
exuse me but the producers are right to change the outfit because the cartoon is something else and the movies are much more different then the cartoons in the seasons of x-men
Yes…I do know that Cyber-X, but the first concept compared to what they gave us if far better.
