FX has released a new promo for their upcoming X-Men universe series LEGION, announcing a February 2017 premiere date for the highly-anticipated show.

The preview, titled “Powerful Real” is filled with new and impressive-looking footage.

“Legion” follows David Haller (Dan Stevens), a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.

Starring Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Jeremie Harry, Bill Irwin, Katie Aselton, Amber Midthunder and Rachel Keller, the series is being made with “Fargo” showrunner Noah Hawley and is executive produced by X-Men film producers Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg, along with with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Production is being handled by FX Productions in association with Marvel Television.
