Fox TV has premiered the exciting first official trailer for their upcoming X-Men universe series THE GIFTED from showrunner Matt Nix (Burn Notice).
The show, with a pilot directed by film veteran Bryan Singer, follows a suburban couple’s ordinary lives as they are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

It stars Stephen Moyer as Reed, Amy Acker as Caitlin, Natalie Alyn Lind as Lauren, Percy Hynes White as Andy, Jamie Chung as Blink, Blair Redford as Thunderbird, Sean Teale as Eclipse, Emma Dumont as Polaris and Coby Bell as Jace.
X-Men film producers Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers, along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
“The Gifted” begins Monday, October 2 at 9pm (8c) on Fox.
