DEADPOOL 2 behind the scene rumors. Will there be New Mutants or Dark Phoenix crossovers?

DEADPOOL 2 is currently filming in Vancouver with director David Leitch and star Ryan Reynolds. The plot of the film is totally unknown, but we know the likes of Cable, Domino, Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and others are in the mix. But could there be even more mutants in the film that we don’t know about? Specifically, the casts or either NEW MUTANTS or X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX?

With the release dates of each film, Deadpool’s sequel is coming just a couple months after “New Mutants,” with “Dark Phoenix” following five months later. It wouldn’t be surprising if producers and 20th Century Fox had plans for some epic crossovers. While one or two films take place in different time periods, we do have Cable, who is well-known for being a time traveler! In the comics, the “New Mutants” have strong ties to Cable, who eventually leads them as the new X-FORCE team.

Twitter user @RealCineaste seems to have the inside scoop on Deadpool’s production and hints at the potential of this happening. She also provides some juicy bits of behind the scene details. None of this can be verified, so take it with a grain of salt for now, but it’s possible she’s telling the truth.
