New trailer for THE GIFTED. Also: Elena Satine cast as Morlock mutant.

FOX released a new trailer for their upcoming X-Men universe series THE GIFTED after cast and crew appeared at The Critics Association event.

Family is the ultimate power and key for this family to survive during the war against mutants.

In other news, it was announced that Elena Satine (Lorelai on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) will appear as the Morlock Beautiful Dreamer on episode two. The Marvel mutant has the ability to “remove or implant memories” into her victims. Titled “A New World,” the episode is directed by Len Weisman.

Episode 102 will introduce a new mutant (from the X-Men comics) "Dreamer" – whose power is to remove or implant memories. #TheGifted #FOXTCA
